Are You Using PLR Content?

June 24th, 2008 · 3 Comments

Using PLR content is becoming more and more popular with many bloggers, webmaster, authors, etc. Using PLR helps many save time and money, allowing them to use their time focusing on other tasks than writing articles and reports. Last year I created a website to help those people learn more about PLR and help them find it. My site that I am referring to is www.MommyPLR.com.

I have been really reading into this topic lately. I plan on creating a full blown PLR content site in the near future and want to be able to provide my visitors some great advice and information on how they can use PLR on their websites. You would not believe the amount of information available on this topic. While reading some lens on Squidoo today about PLR, I came across a lens that explained PLR and also offered a FREE PLR ebook and PLR Rewriter. Of course I downloaded the ebook and the re-write program. [Read more →]

Mommy’s Wish List

June 24th, 2008 · 1 Comment

I have been reading a ton of internet marketing e-books and reports lately. There are also a ton of ebooks that I would like to buy. I am one of those frugal types of moms though. I will always try to find the information FREE before I purchase something online. I like to think about my purchases before I actually buy the product. I hate having regrets. There is a couple ebooks on Squidoo that I really want. I just haven’t figured out if I really need them. I know I want, but is it something I need. I really want Squidoo Queen that is published by Kelly Stone. In this ebook she mixes Squidoo with bum marketing. Since I have been digging deeply into bum marketing, this is something I can say I want NOW. I also want the ebook Social Networking on Squidoo. I think this one is by Tiffany Dow, a popular fellow squid and ghostwriter.

Some other things I would like might be that Amazon Kindle I blogged about. Or maybe a nice new Seiko watches for ladies, the one with the pink mother of pearl dial I am going to have to get out a pad and paper and get together my wish list for the hubby! Not saying I would get any of it, especially the ebooks. He doesn’t understand much internet stuff so I don’t even go there.

What is on your wish list?

Looking For Credit For Your Business?

June 23rd, 2008 · No Comments

Most people will tell you that credit cards are bad. Well, they can be if you don’t know how to manage your money wisely. They can also come in handy when you need them. Right now I wish I had one of those gas credit cards. With the price of gas, I can’t afford to leave my house. If I wanted to go on vacation, it wouldn’t happen because the amount of money I would have to spend on the gas wouldn’t be worth it. I know that many use business credit cards for their business expenses. I would love to be able to get one of these one day so I can buy all the internet marketing ebooks that are on my WISH LIST.

For those looking for business credit cards too, you might want to check out this site I found. It has a variety of credit card options sorted by the type. If you are looking for say a low interest credit card, balance transfer credit cards or no annual fee credit cards, it is broken down by category for you. I thought that was pretty cool for those looking for something in particular.

Here is the link: http://creditcardsclub.com/

With my post yesterday about the Amazon Kindle, a credit card just might come in handy!

Enjoy
Stefani

Amazon Kindle Review

June 22nd, 2008 · 1 Comment

What is an Amazon Kindle? It is a wireless reading device created by Amazon that allows you to read newspapers, books, ebooks, magazines, blogs and more from a handheld device. The kindle is about the size of your regular size paperback book. It connects to the Amazon Kindle Store, so you don’t need to get online to download your media. You can read and buy books 24 hours a day. It even let’s you surf the web, but the view you get is not as good as you would see from a regular computer. The Amazon store even has lots of FREE samples to download. All your books you purchase through the Amazon Kindle store will also be backed up on Amazon. If you lose your Kindle, you will still have your books you have purchased.

This device is very lightweight and can be taken anywhere you go. This is something that is great for the frequent traveler. No more packing and toting around heavy books. With the Amazon Kindle, you can download over 90,000 books and growing. These include most the New York Times Best Sellers. The Amazon Kindle can store up to 200 books and downloads the books within minutes. Can you pack around 200 books with you at all times? Another cool feature of the Amazon Kindle is it has a built in dictionary. You also have buttons to turn the page and when you are done, it will remember where you left off.

The Amazon Kindle automatically delivers your favorite magazines or newspaper to you each day. You can have your favorite magazines or newspapers, like The Wall Street Journal or Forbes, delivered to you each day before it hits the news stands. The kindle also automatically updates blog and feeds all day long.

There are only a few downsides to the Amazon Kindle. There is no place to rest your hands. There is no built in light, so you will have to in the light to view it. It also can be a bit on the high price end.

If you have the money to spend, I would recommend buying one of these gadgets. You will save space in your home, instead of filling your bookcase full of books. You will have your books at your fingertips. The Amazon Kindle uses electronic ink, which makes it look like you are reading an actual book too! If you are a book lover, this definitely should be on your wish list!

Blogging Basics

June 21st, 2008 · No Comments

If writing is an art, blogging is could be defined as art too. The people who are really into blogging are the ones who are artistic in their own way. They carefully choose words that would best describe their feelings, sentiments, wishes, desires, and everything else. These types of blogs sometimes go rather well with the people reading them. They feel as if the know the author of the blog.

Basically, blogs were first introduced online as weblogs. This was in the mid 1990’s. They were referred to as “server’s log file.” It was created when web logging hit the virtual market. Web logging as it was called, gradually saturated the virtual community making the Internet a great source of information. However, with web logging, you still need a web site and your own domain. With blogging, you do not need your own website or domain. You just need to signup with a blog provider, which there are many that are free of charge. Don’t get me wrong, you can still have it all too. You can have the domain and blog in one package. [Read more →]

Make Money With Squidoo – A Mom’s Dream Come True

June 19th, 2008 · 3 Comments

Parents, especially moms are constantly trying to think of ways to make money at home. As a natural instinct, mothers want to be the one to raise their newborn children, not put them in daycare. I have been there myself. I worked the full time job while my grandmother watched my daughter. It took me some time, but I was able to quit my job and work strictly from home. I am now helping other moms find ways to make money at home too! [Read more →]
